The Job

• Provide monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and (financial) forecasts in both domains (Finance / Controlling) with respect towards deadlines
• Establish, implement and improve tools/models/reportings allowing a daily strict follow-up in both domains (Finance/Controlling) to comply with EOS Group guidelines, regulations and legislation, translated towards the Belgian debt collection domain
• Close collaboration with the Finance & Controlling departments in the two mother companies (EOS & Alpha Credit, part of the BNP Paribas Group) and auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations and guidelines
• Assist and Develop in close cooperation with the senior Finance & Controlling Officer & Managing Director the budgets and financial plans for the company, based on research and data reports
• Assist in the Compliance Controls (GDPR, data protection, procedure management, ..), assist in complaints management controlling

Your profile

Must-have

• bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or a related field
• some experience in a business or finance environment (with preference a banking environment)
• outstanding mathematical skills
• solid written and verbal communication skills in Dutch, French and English
• organizational skills: high attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, analytical skills
• computer skills: excel, PPT
• honesty; integrity; reliability

Nice-to-have

• computer skills: Cognos IBM, PowerBI
• communication skills: basic knowledge of german

The Job

• Perform the monthly and yearly closing both in local GAAP as in IFRS, assisted by the Finance teams of both shareholders (EOS Group & Alpha Credit)
• Provide monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and (financial) forecasts in both domains (Finance / Controlling) with respect towards deadlines
• Implement and improve tools/models/reportings enabling the top management to closely monitor the financial performance of the company
• Close collaboration with the Finance & Controlling departments in the two mother companies (EOS & Alpha Credit, part of the BNP Paribas Group) and auditing services
• Assist and Develop in close cooperation with the Managing Director the budgets and financial plans for the company, based on research and data reports
• Participate in the international exchange program with other EOS Group subsidiaries in Europe about all finance related topics affecting EOS Aremas

Your profile

Must-have

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field
• experience in finance and controlling (with preference in a financial services environment)

• computer skills: Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint

The Job

• You represent the interests of your customers in the Tribe &  Squad which means you anticipate customers needs and market evolution.
• You work together with the Squad and the stakeholders to build & prioritize a product backlog that you map into a roadmap and break down into user stories, respecting the agile principles
• You ensure the prioritization of the backlog, adapting value-based prioritization method, to cover build, run and maintenance needs
• You clarify risks proactively and find solutions for impediments to your projects/backlog together with the stakeholders, the tribe members, and the squad members.
• You actively participate in the  different ceremonies of the Squad, such as the Sprint Planning, the Sprint Review, and the Refinements.
• You are part of the Management Team and report to the Managing Director, you are supported by the parent companies Alpha Credit & EOS Group

Your profile

• You have previous experience as a Product Owner or a Project Manager.
• You thrive in dynamic settings where you constantly must (re-) prioritize.
• You are structured, pragmatic and have good negotiation skills.
• You have excellent communication and people management skills.
• Technical skills/knowledge like SQL, HTML, Java scripts, Jasper soft, Camunda are a plus but not a must at all.
• Ideally, you have experience working in a financial institution and/or working closely together with an IT department,
• You are Dutch-speaking or French-speaking and have a good knowledge of the other language, and you are also fluent in English.

• You are responsible for managing outstanding debts. While speaking with debtors over the phone, you negotiate payment arrangements that reflect their personal and financial situations.
• You manage newly terminated files and ensure the enforcement of guarantees. You follow up on agreed repayment plans and both amicable and legal procedures, through phone, mail, email, and our specialized tools.
